We woke up had breakfast and released the dingy of the davits into the water and dinged to west cows but unlike Portsmouth we didn’t have to request permission via the radio and could cross freely as long as we stayed clear of the various ferries. In Cowes there was a relatively large town where we went to the chandlers for a fender step, the chandler also had a great model shop where I found a really cool small RC car that was £120 so I’m saving up. Mum found a home shop she bought a cast iron pan that for some reason needed to be cleaned with chainmail but never actually cleaned? After carrying mums new, heavy pan around (for ages) we sat at a pub to have a drink . Dash was very upset at the lack of bacon crisps.
