I get mugged by a monkey
And no this isn’t a joke we are in Gibraltar. We arrived on the 12th of October but didn’t get the chance to go up the rock until the 15th. It w…
Read the story ↗Recently we sailed to tanger which is I a city in Morocco and we are now waiting out the weather as waves come in from the north. While we have been here we have done a few things including boat jobs a lot of uphill walking and various other escapades. First we walked around the city and there either are no road laws or they just aren’t followed and no one stops to think about the time when using their car horn. The markets are an experience for sure. Loud with strong and wildly different smells around every corner and masses of fake designer clothes. However the fruit is amazing and everything is fairly cheap so I stocked up on enough wool to keep me going across the Atlantic at least. Another nice surprise was McDonald having milkshakes so those were promptly inhaled. Mum booked a tour which was quite good we got to go camel riding and to see a cave. There are many stray cats and dogs here and although the dogs are well treated the Qu’ran states that they cannot be kept and shouldn’t be touched but that cats are fine and clean so the population control of the dogs is more closely watched. Beau and mum then brought back an ill kitten and beau has written about that but the brief is we did all we could, de-fleaed it and de-wormed it and took it to a shelter the following day. It’s an interesting country and I’m sure I haven’t seen it all and it isn’t somewhere I will forget and time soon.
